Margaret L. Hilliard

Margaret L. Hilliard, 68, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2007 in a local hospital. She retired from Duracell after 27 years of employment. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Bryan Hilliard; son, Wallace Bryan Hilliard, Jr.; parents, Archie and Cherine Selph Creamer; and one brother, Martin Creamer.

Survivors include one son Bruce and Crystal Hilliard of Cleveland; one daughter and son in law, Sheila and Walter Brewer of Cleveland; one sister, Rosie Butler of St. Petersburg, FL; special sisters in law, Dorothy Hilliard of Cleveland and Ruby Johnson of Delano, TN; brother in law and sister in law, Bobby and Anne Hilliard; seven grandchildren, Steve Goodwin, Leigh Anne Brewer, Brooke Hilliard, Meagan Nunley, Conswella McMurray, Jonathon Hilliard and April Hilliard; seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Ball Play Cemetery in Polk County with Steve Goodwin, Jonathon Hilliard, Walter Brewer, Bruce Hilliard, Jason Mashburn, Heath Nunley and Dustin McMurray serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
