Neta Frady Hindman, 85, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, April 27, 2007 at her home. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She loved to quilt. She loved the Lord, her family and friends. She was an usher at Memorial Auditorium for 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ruffie Paul Hindman; parents, Calton Juston Frady and Icie Almeda Romines; and one brother, Qvaughn Frady.
Survivors include one son and daughter in law, Wayne and Kathy Hindman of Cleveland; one adopted son, Ronnie West of Cleveland; one brother and sister in law, Vero and Betty Frady of Detroit, MI; one sister, Vesta Crisp of Benton, TN; four grandsons, David Hindman, Daniel Hindman and wife Heather, Jonathan Hindman and Jason Cook; three great grandchildren, Tessa Hindman, D. J. Hindman, and Ricky Hindman; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Woody officiating. Interment will follow in Beaty Cemetery with Justin Kennedy, Jeff Price, Skeeter Hindman, Ronnie West, John Welch, Mike Passmore, Tommy Hindman, and Scott Price serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be J. B. Turpin and E. L. Hindman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church, 1227 Powerline Drive, Cleveland, TN 37323.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
