Lynne Lowe Hines, 64, was a resident of Cleveland for 45 years. She died Monday , August 10, 2009 in a local hospital. She was born in Greensboro, NC on February 15, 1945.

Lynne was a lady loved by all who knew her. She was affectionately known to many as Mama Lynne. She was a graduate of University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She spent her early working years as a full time wife of Dr. Ronald Hines (former husband), mother and professional volunteer. Lynne was very active at Arnold school, and she was a member of the Cleveland Community Concert Association for 20 years. Lynne was a Brownie troop leader and a softball mom. She was always ready to help and support her children. She was a member of First United Methodist Church for 30 years. Lynne spent her last working years at Life Care in the design group then at Check Into Cash before she retired.

In her leisure time, Lynne loved to cook, sell jewelry, and she loved being at the beach. She was someone who loved everyone. And once she knew you, you became part of her family. She had a wisdom and knowledge that was sought after by all of us. Lynne was a strong woman who accepted every challenge with fierce determination. Her love for her family and her faith in God gave her victory in this life.

She was preceded in death by father, Stanley Wright Lowe, Sr., her mother, Jane Groome Lowe, and her sister Anne Lowe McMahon.

Lynne Hines is survived by her two daughters and her son in law: Nancy Lynne Hines and Dina Hines-Dell and Scott. She had 4 granddaughters: BreeAnna, Madison, Hope, and Noa Dell. Lynne is also survived by her brothers: Stanley W. Lowe, Jr. and Jill Wyse, Andrew Joel Lowe, and Anne Lowe McMahons husband-Carl E. McMahon, and her nieces: Molly McMahon Brown, Susan McMahon Berry, Lindsay Lowe and Jessica Lowe.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 13th at First United Methodist Church on North Ocoee Street from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral will be held at the church immediately following at 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
