Iris Elaine Hoffman passed away peacefully at her home, Friday, October 10, 2008, with her husband, Albert Hoffman of 62 years, and members of her family at her bedside. Iris had been suffering with Alzheimers for the past two years. About a year of this time was spent at Life Care of Cleveland, Tennessee. Over the course of Al and Iris 62 years of marriage, their family grew to include 2 sons, 2 daughters, 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Over these years, they lived in Nebraska, South Dakota, Kansas, Texas, Iowa, Florida and Tennessee. In 1999, Al and Iris fell in love with the Cleveland, Tennessee area and made their retirement home here.
