Minnie Ruth Howell

Minnie Ruth Howell, 87, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, April 16, 2007 in a local hospital. She was an avid bowler. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred M. and Margie Bacon Howell; two brothers, Randall and Robert H. Howell; and one sister, Nellie Belcher.

Survivors include one brother, Bud Howell of Cleveland; four sisters, Reba and husband John F. Lawson, Helen Campbell, Dorothy Gates, and Mary Katherine Ensley, all of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Sammy Melton officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
