Nathan Wayne Howell

Nathan Wayne Howell, age 62, passed away April 13, 2010 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Golden Howell.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Gaynette Murphree Howell, his children Candice Howell (Ronald) Patterson, Chris Howell, Joshua (April) Howell, Jessica Howell, Kayla Howell, and Caleb Howell; and 4 grandchildren, Micah, Elijah, Judah, and Kaedon, all of Cleveland. He is also survived by three sisters, Irene Thiron, Shirley Fox, and Tammy Bennett; and two brothers, Nathaniel Howell and Otis Howell.

Wayne was born April 6, 1948. He attended Lee University where he graduated with a degree in Theology. He and Gaye were married Jan. 6, 1978. He was a member of Living Word Church. He was an ordained minister and served the church in many capacities. He served as a youth pastor, pastor, evangelist, worship leader, teacher and Christian school principal. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 7:00 pm at Living Word Church. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00pm at Living Word Church located at 930 25th St. NW, Cleveland, TN.
