Virginia Jo Hurst

Virginia Jo Hurst, age 73, resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2009, at her residence with her loving family by her side. She was a member of the North Cleveland Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her mother, Pauline Mills.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Hurst; two sons and daughters in law, Mike and Teresa Hurst and Tim and Gail Hurst all of Cleveland; one step daughter, Kathy Jean Motley, Ft. Smith, Arkansas; one brother, Jack Howard, Cleveland, TN; one sister, Margaret Goins, Cleveland, TN; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2009, at 6:30 p.m. at North Cleveland Baptist Church with Dr. Jay McCluskey officiating. Interment will be held Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Larry Sharo, Keith Mills, T. J. Hurst, Tyler Hurst, Clay Grigsby and Casey Gallaher serving as pallbearers.

Floral contributions will be accepted or you may make a contribution to the American Cancer Society in memory of Virginia Jo Hurst.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4:30 p.m. until the time of service at the church.
