Joyce D. Johnson

Joyce D. Johnson, age 76, resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Friday evening, October 23, 2009, in a Collegedale healthcare facility. She was a member of the Thompson Springs Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis Kimsey and Fannie Cowden Kimsey, one son, Jackie Johnson, one brother, Lake Kimsey and two sisters, Edna Headrick and Louise Terry.

She is survived by her loving husband, Herbert Johnson, Cleveland, TN, one son, Timothy Scott Johnson, Cleveland, TN, one sister, Shirley Woods, Nashville, TN and four grandchildren, Andrew Johnson, Micah Johnson, Mason Johnson and Toby Johnson. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 26, 2009, at 8:00 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Guinn Green officiating. Interment will be held privately.
