Timothy Lee Johnson

Timothy Lee Johnson, age 47, resident of Georgetown, TN, passed away Saturday, May 26, 2007, at the family residence. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and he was retired from the United States Postal Service. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wilba E. Young Cofer and Robert F. Cofer and beloved uncle, Franklin Cotton Cofer.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Gonzales Johnson, Georgetown, TN; two sons, Zachary Benjamin Franklin Johnson and Andrew Dylan Johnson both of Georgetown, TN; loving parents, Harry and Sherrie Johnson, Charleston, TN; two sisters and spouses, Cheree and Ken Guy, Signal Mtn. TN and Nikki and Ron Lane, Abilene, Texas; grandmother, Ann Montgomery, Cleveland, TN and two very special Godparents, Junior and Louise Shelton of Cleveland. One niece, Amber Ballard and one nephew, Andy Ballard, both of Signal Mountain, TN.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 1, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Hoyle Ellis and Joe D. Collins officiating. Interment will follow in Cofer Cemetery with Quinn Hixson, Frankie Elkins, Frankie Millaway, Jeff Campbell, Ty Arp and Ken Guy serving as pallbearers. A Trinity Dove Release ceremony will conclude the services at Cofer Cemetery.
