Helen Elizabeth Jones

Helen Elizabeth Jones, 85, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday morning, October 22, 2007 at her home. She attended Lebanon Baptist Church. She was a retired self-employed beautician. She was preceded in death by her husband, R. L. Jones; parents, Matthew Wesley Goss and Allie Dilbeck Goss; two brothers, David W. Goss and Gilliam Goss; and two sisters, Anna Belle Lawson and Eleanor Toad Goss.

Survivors include one daughter and son in law, Janice and Frank Finnell of Cleveland; one granddaughter, Cynthia Finnell of Cleveland; one sister, Billie Hayes of Knoxville; two stepchildren, Donna Adams and Terry Jones, both of Cleveland; special nephew, Mickey Lawson of Cleveland ; and two special caregivers, Shirley Randolph and Beverly Stanley.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Richard McKeehan officiating. Interment will follow at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Wayne Mull, Don Stanley, Daniel Brown, Danny Brown, Tim Childers, Larry McSpadden serving as pallbearers. A Trinity Dove Release will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
