Lester E. Kelley, age 74, resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Saturday morning, January 27, 2007, at his residence. He was the owner and operator of Less Superette. He was a member of Tasso United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of the Korean War and served in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Mr. Kelley was preceded in death by his brother, Virgil L. Kelley and parents, E. B. and Rhetta Kelley.
He is survived by his beloved children, two daughters, Karen Kelley, Cleveland and Sabrina Kelley Eagle, Salisbury, North Carolina and one son, Rodney Kelley, Eagleville, TN. Two sisters, Lou Sledge and Gladys Arbore both of Cleveland, TN. One brother, James Kelley, Cleveland; 6 grandchildren, Bianca Harris, Kelley Harris, Whitney Kelley, Lindsay Eagle, Joshua Eagle and Danielle Eagle and one great granddaughter, Shelby Goins. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 29, 2007, at 3:00 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Pastor Cheryl Caruso officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
