Jaxson Avery Kidd born April 3, 2008, infant son of Johnny and Kylie Kidd, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 31, 2008.

Jaxson was a gift of happiness with a smile that filled the room. He enjoyed making family compete for time to hold him. He had aspirations of baseball, football, and golf. He was a healthy baby boy born suddenly into heaven. He is greatly loved and missed.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents Herbert and Maggie Kidd and Carl Baird.

Survivors include his parents Johnny and Kylie Kidd; grandparents Ronald and Sandra Kidd and Artis and Kathy Hill; great-grandparents Grace Baird, Artis and Sarah Hill of Lanett, AL, Joe and Lorraine Tyner, and Nancy Tyner; uncles and aunts Joe and Heather Kidd; Cotter Hill, Treyson Hill, Seth and Arley Klein, and Von and Shanna Chastain; cousins Madilyn Kidd, Aiden Kidd, Jodie Chastain, Caleb Chastain, and Seth Chastain.

A Remembrance of Life service will be held at First Baptist Church Monday, August 4, 2008, at 4:00 p.m. with the Reverend Bill Griffith officiating.

Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with the Grandfathers Ronald Kidd and Artis Hill serving as pallbearers.

The family is receiving friends from Sunday, August 3, 2008, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church Worship Center.
