Hilda G. Knobel

Hilda G. Knobel, age 93, resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, October 27, 2009, in a local health care facility. She was of the Christian faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Annie Dumbleton and her husband, Larry Knobel. She loved to cook and have people in her home for great friendship and great meals. A native of Hartney Manitoba, Canada, he was a resident of Phoenix, Arizona for 50 years before moving to Cleveland for the past few years. She loved to garden and visit with her neighbors.

She is survived by her best friend and sister, Marjorie Poss of Cleveland, TN, sister, Winnifred MacArthur of Oakville Ontario, Canada; 3 nieces, Sharron Dean of Oakville Ontario, Canada, Lynne Havel of Pawleys Island, South Carolina and Earlene Hawk of Cleveland, TN, one nephew, Brian MacArthur, Georgetown Ontario, Canada. 9 great nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held privately at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pastor Drew Henry officiating.
