Ruth Masengill Lamon

Ruth Masengill Lamon, age 90, resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday morning, April 10, 2007, in a local hospital. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob N. Lamon, parents, Arthur and Agnes Masengill, one son, David Lamon, four sisters, Flora Maupin, Edna Renner, Juanita Rymer and Loetta Swafford, four brothers, Earl, Frank, Ernest and Chester Masengill.

She is survived by one brother, Louie Masengill, one daughter, Sue Taylor and son-in-law, Franklin Taylor; three sons, Virgil Lamon and wife Katherine, Randall Lamon and wife Tamara and Gary Lamon all of Cleveland. Eight grandchildren, Patricia Lamon, Denise Amick, Heith and Matt Lamon, David Jr. and Derek Lamon, Monica Hill and Conrad Taylor. 9 great grandchildren also survive.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 12, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. at Tasso United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Homer Roberts officiating.
