Lizzie Lawson

Lizzie Mae Lawson, 77, a resident of Old Fort, passed away Friday, February 23, 2007 in a local hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Lawson; and parents, Hughie and Susie Roark.

Survivors include three sons and daughters in law, Ray and Bonnie Lawson of Harrison, OH, Damon and Jeannie Lawson of Cleveland, and George Edward (Butch) Lawson of Lenoir City, TN; one daughter, Sharon Ruth Reynolds of Cleveland; four sisters, Ella Mae Hoskins, Virgie Lefevers, Barbara Sanders, and Shirley Gray; three brothers, Wesley Roark, Paul Roark, and Garfield Roark; seven grandchildren, April, Jennifer, Crystal, Damon Gene, Amanda, Megan and Haley.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Benton Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 12-2 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
