Geneva M. Lemons

Geneva M. Lemons, age 83, a resident of Cleveland, went home to be with the Lord, Tuesday, August 24, 2010. She was a member of the First Christian Church. She was dearly loved by her family and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William H. Martin and Roxie Paul Martin Robinson; husband, Gene H. Lemons; one daughter and son in law, Barbara Lemons Kibble and Ricky Kibble; and one great grandson, James Robert Belk III.

Survivors include three daughters and sons in law, Karen and Gary Lynn, Tena and Henry Ford, and Dena and Jerry Hunt, all of Cleveland; two brothers, Bill Martin and wife Theresa, and Ray Martin, all of Cynthiana, KY; seven grandchildren, Stephen Carr, Suan Maney and special caregiver Natasha Humphreys, Cindy Belk and husband Jamie, Mindy Farrar and husband Sam, Christy Bibee and husband Jeremy, Maria Ford and Henry Ford III; six great-grandchildren, Breeanna Belk, Bryson Simons, Kendra Carr, Kyra Carr, Braxton Belk; and several loved nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 8 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Sammy Hooker officiating. Interment will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. Robert Smith officiating.

The family will receive friends Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.
