Cheryl D. Lewis, age 38, resident of Cleveland, passed away Monday, December 10, 2007, in a local hospital. She was a member of the Northside Presbyterian Church. She was retired from Maytag Customer Service. Prior to Maytag, she was employed with Williams Chiropractic. Most recently, Cheryl was co-owner of Clay Divas Design Jewelry. She helped raise funds for the MDA Ride & Stride and also the local MDA Lock-Up . She was a 1987 graduate of Cleveland High School and a 1991 graduate of Cleveland State Community College. While attending Cleveland State, Cheryl received the Outstanding Psychology Student Scholarship and Outstanding Academic Achievement. While attending Cleveland High School, Cheryl was a member of the French Club and a member of the band and received the English III Award. She was a donor for the Locks of Love .

She is survived by her loving parents, Ted and Pat Lewis of Cleveland, TN, two sisters and brothers in law, Regina and Dr. Mark Williams and Andrea and Anthony Klein all of Cleveland, TN and her beloved pet poodle, Leo . She is also survived by several aunts and uncles and cousins.

A Celebration of the Life and Home Going of Cheryl D. Lewis will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at Northside Presbyterian Church with Dr. David Tullock, Rev. Art Pflug and Rev. Gary Sears officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Anthony Klein, Mark Williams, Jamey Williams, Charles Elam, Ruly Smith and Denny Williams serving as pallbearers. Graveside services will be concluded with a Trinity Dove Release . The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church.
