After battling cancer, Enoch Junior Lowe of Benton, TN went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 2nd at the age of 45. He passed peacefully surrounded by his family at his home. He was a member of Life Church at Mountain Creek were he also rode with the church Christian motorcycle club. He was an avid Georgia Bulldogs fan, Atlanta Falcons and Braves fan. He was loved by many and he never met a stranger. Through out his battle with cancer he never lost his sense of humor or his love for the Lord. His life was a testimony to everyone he met. He was preceded in death by his fathers Enoch Lowe Sr. and Paul Roberts. Calvary and Reba Roberts, Brothers, Roy and Ray Lowe, Alvin and Gary Roberts, sister, Ruth Welch.
Survivors include the love of his life of 27 yrs Carla Lowe and their two children Katie 19 and Daniel 12. His mother Juanita Roberts, brothers Roy Lowe, Dalmos Roberts, Jimmy Gann, and sisters, Dorothy Stamey, Joann Salazar, Linda Gee, Nora Farris, Sandra Lowe, Susie Coffey, Lucy Smith, Florence Hughes, Evelyn Driggins and Bessie Filyaw. He had many nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews who all loved him dearly. He had many friends and co workers who were all with him till the end.
Pallbearers will be Ron Murray, Mark McCurley, Scott Farris, Daniel Stamey, David Stamey, Nukuma Pell, Jim Bob Pell and Travis Jones. Honorary pallbearers Ken Brooks, Charlie Glaze, Kenny Smith, Petie Hight and Motorcycle club of Life Church.
Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at Mt. Olive Church of God Monday, October 5, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Gary Sears and Pastor Rev. John Gann officiating. Interment will follow in Grasshopper Cemetery in Birchwood, TN with Ron Murray, Mark McCurley, Scott Farris, Daniel Stamey, David Stamey, Nukuma Pell, Jim Bob Pell and Travis Jones serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers Ken Brooks, Charlie Glaze, Kenny Smith, Petie Hight and Motorcycle club of Life Church. His body will lie in state 2 hours prior to the service at the church.
The family requests memorials may be made to the Mt. Olive Church of God.
The family will receive friends Sunday, October 4, 2009, from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Grissom Funeral Home who has charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be sent to www.grissomfh.net
