Alice Faye Malone, age 72, of Cleveland Tennessee, went to be with the Lord on Dec. 8, 2009, surrounded by her loving family.

Alice was born on June 8, 1937 in Jefferson Co. Tennessee to the late Blanche Wilson Bull and Rev. William Bull, Jr.

Alice grew up in Tennessee and eventually met the love of her life Jack H. Malone and were married for 51 Years. Alice and Jack started their journey in Cleveland, TN. then moved to Ames, IA for a short stay. Their journey then took them to St. Louis, MO where they raised their family. Eventually their journey came to full circle where they began their life together in Cleveland.

Alice, Mom, Grammy was a kind hearted and caring woman who loved so many things about life. The most important thing in her life was the love and caring for her family. Her family was the joy of her life and had a special place in her heart for each one of them. When she would talk about her kids, grandkids and her husband there was an uplifting sound in her voice. Her family was the reason she fought so long to live through many years of illness.

Alice loved watching sports, especially when it was her kids or grandkids were out there playing. She also loved watching football, baseball, and basketball and had a special place for the St. Louis Cardinals and the UT Vols.

Alice is survived by her husband Jack H. Malone of Cleveland, her daughter Mitzie Riedel and husband Phil of Cary, NC, her son Jeffrey Malone and his wife Rhonda of Blue Springs, MO. her son Corey Malone and his wife Kendra of St. Louis, MO. Six Grandchildren, Maggie Malone, Jen Riedel, Mallory Malone, Annah Riedel, Abby Malone and Zach Malone. Her brothers and sisters: Don Bull of Jonesborough, Ramona Reed of Cleveland, Catherine Whelchel of Charlotte, Judy Biggs of Cleveland and William Bull, III of Naples. Several nieces and nephews and many friends she encountered in her life journey.

A Visitation will be held on Friday, Dec. 11 at First United Methodist Church 3425 Ocoee Street North Cleveland, beginning at 5:30 until 7:00. A Celebration of her life will immediately follow the Visitation in the sanctuary.

Gravesite Service Saturday Dec. 12th at 11:00 AM in the Sunset Memorial Gardens, Cleveland, TN.

In leiu of flowers the family requests donations to Holston Conference Childrens Home % First United Methodist Church, 3425 Ocoee Street North, Cleveland, TN 37312-4456.
