Rebecca Martin

Rebecca Martin, age 60, resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2010, in a local hospital. She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church. She was a Eucharistic minister at St. Therese. She served on the welcoming committee at church. She was very actively involved in her church. She loved animals and enjoyed to bird watch. She was a loving wife, mother and sister. She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernie Lee and Kathleen Tippens.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Robert Lee Martin, Cleveland, TN; one son, Robert Christian Martin, Cleveland, TN; four brothers and sisters in law, Jimmy and Katy Tippens, Gary and Eva Tippens, Vernie and Michelle Tippens and Bobby and Teresha Tippens; four nieces, five nephews, 2 aunts and several cousins also survive.

Mass of the Resurrection will be held Saturday, March 27, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church with Father Peter Ioreo officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Friday, March 26, 2010, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home and also on Saturday one hour prior to the service at the church.
