Larry Mashburn

Larry Lamar Mashburn, age 63, resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2008, in a Chattanooga healthcare facility. He was an executive in the carpet industry in Dalton, GA for over 25 years. He attended both North Cleveland Church of God and Westmore Church of God. Larry loved to travel and he loved to read. He was preceded in death by the mother of his daughter, Paula Ann Griffith, his father, Banks Mashburn, stepfather, Rev. John Pigg and one uncle, Shelby Valentine.

He is survived by one daughter and son in law, Kim and Jon Mizell, Sumter, South Carolina; mother, Laverne Pigg, Cleveland, TN; three grandchildren, Morgan, Mikayla and Macie Mizell of Sumter, South Carolina. One aunt, Margaret Valentine, Cleveland, TN and many nieces and nephews also survive. Two very special friends, Vickie Ledford and Bobbie Wilson.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2008, at 1:00 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Smith officiating. Interment will be private.

Memorials may be made to North Cleveland Church of God Building Fund.
