Pauline McAmis

Pauline H. McAmis, age 88, resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Thursday, September 24, 2009, in a local healthcare facility. She was a member of Mt. Olive Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph B. McAmis, parents, Ruffus and Miranda Hughes, two sons, James (Jim) A. Hudgins and Jeffery McAmis, sisters, Bessie Hughes, Mae Davis, Louise Hill and Pearl Price and brothers, John Hughes, Marvin Hughes, Sr., Charlie Hughes and Clifford Hughes. One grandson, Steven Ross.

She is survived by one daughter, Paula Flemming, and one son and daughter in law, Tim and Shirley McAmis all of Cleveland, TN; grandchildren, Shane McAmis, Cleveland, TN, Starlette Guess, Colorado and Daniel Flemming, Cleveland, TN, great grandchildren, Timothy Bates, Cleveland, David Wise, Aurora Guess and Sebastion Guess all of Colorado. Nephew and special prayer buddy, Junior Hughes.

Funeral services will be held Monday, September 28, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Olive Church of God with Pastor Gary Sears officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery. Mrs. McAmis will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church.

Memorials may be made to the Mt. Olive Church of God Cemetery Fund.
