Olan Thomas McMinn, Jr., age 70, resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Saturday, May 16, 2009, in a local healthcare center. He was a member of the Church of God. He was a member of the Disabled Veterans. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. He was the owner of Macks Exterminating and GFB Filter Service both in Texas. He was a true enterperneur. When he saw something that needed donehe found a way to complete the task. He will be missed. He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Olan McMinn, Sr.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn McMinn, Cleveland, TN; mother, Mildred Atkins Meredith, Sundown, TX; one son, Keith McMinn, Spring, Texas; four daughters, Toni Schuman and Dana Heubner both of Cleveland and Dee Dee Kude, Ballinger, TX and Shari McMinn, Kingwood, TX; two brothers, James McMinn, Odessa, TX and Jerel McMinn, Sundown, TX. 14 grandchidlren and 5 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services were held Monday, May 18, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Bowers officiating. Interment will be held in Crews Cemetery in Runnels County, TX.
