Mealor P. Moore

Mealor P. Moore, age 84, resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Friday evening, November 27, 2009, at her residence. She was a member of the Cornerstone Church. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel B. Pope and Roxie V. Grooms Pope, husband, John Moore, brothers, Paul, Andrew, Phillip and Cecil Pope and four sisters, Alice Roark, Ruby Weathers and Ann Lenoir and Vertie Mae Boring.

She is survived by one sister, Mary Womack, South Carolina and one special niece and caregiver, Virginia Albritton, McDonald, TN; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday, November 30, 2009, at 7:00 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Herbert Conley officiating. Interment will be held Tuesday, December 1, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at Lee Cemetery in McDonald, TN.

The family request in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Cornerstone Church.
