Linda Lee Morgan

Linda Lee Morgan, age 65, resident of Charleston, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 4, 2009. She passed away at her residence with her loving family by her side. She attended the Westwood Baptist Church. She was a retired registered nurse and had worked for Cleveland Community Hospital, Bradley Memorial Hospital, Duracell as an industrial nurse, Coppingers and Assoc., Hardwood Frames of America, General Hospital in Alexandria, VA., Naval Hospital in Charleston, S.C. and various other private practices. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Katherine Gibson Stafford and one brother, John Wesley Stafford.

She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Marlin V. Buddy Morgan, Charleston; two beloved sons, Eric Lynn Morgan, Charleston and Patrick Hayden Morgan, Smyrna, TN; two sisters, Ruth Lingerfelt, Cleveland, TN and Kaye McNabb, Signal Mountain, TN; two grandsons, Christopher Eric Morgan and Jonathan Eric Morgan both of Cleveland, TN. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 7, 2009, at 3:00 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Cawood and Rev. Ricky Kesley officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Dennis Armore, Robby Shelton, Steven Withrow, Jeremy Withrow, Jason Withrow and Chris Morgan serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Corey Davis, Keith Lingerfelt, Jim Withrow and Van Davis.

The family will receive friends Thursday, August 6, 2009, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Grissom Funeral Home. Online condolences may be sent to www.grissomfh.net
