Mae Belle Murray

Mae Belle Murray, age 90, resident of Chattanooga, TN, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2008, in a Chattanooga healthcare facility. A native of Bradley County, Tennessee, Mrs. Murray lived for many years in Venice, Florida. She was a member of the Phillipi Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, H. L. Hazel Murray, sister, Pauline Gibson and parents, Homer and Jessie Shoemaker.

She is survived by one son, Paul Murray, Venice, Florida; one daughter, Amanda Ann Murray Wynn, Hixson, TN; one sister, Bernice Blackburn, Dalton, GA; two grandchildren, Beth Riner, Murfreesboro, TN and Robert Wynn, Jr., Kings Mills, Ohio; four great grandchildren, Claire and Alex Riner and R. J. and David Wynn; nieces and nephews, Joan Parker and Patty Gibson, both of Cleveland, TN and James David Blackburn, Jeff Blackburn, Joel Blackburn, Berna Blackburn, all of Dalton, GA.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 25, 2008, at 3:00 p.m. at Beaty Cemetery in Cleveland, TN with Rev. Sammy Hooker officiating.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, memorials please be made to the Phillipi Baptist Church, Cleveland, TN.
