Rev Eugene Nicola

Rev. Eugene Zear Nicola ,79, of Cleveland passed away on April 26 2010.

Gene was a member of North Cleveland Church of God. He pastored for over 30 years in South Carolina, Iowa and Indiana. After retiring moving to Cleveland he and his wife Ann began to minister once again and would go to Sevierville to the Widows Home and take care of the ladies every other weekend. They also were blessed to be a part of the outreach ministry of Walker Street.

Survived by his wife Ann Nicola, along with 5 children, Marilyn Murphy(Cleveland) Elaine Watson (Steve) of Georgia, Donna Weaver (Daniel) of Nebraska, Brian Riddle(Michelle) of Georgia and Sherree Fister (Larry) of Cleveland. Blessed with 13 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren and 2 more to be born this year.

A worship memorial service will be held at the North Cleveland Church of God Dixon Chapel on Thursday April 29 2010 with Rev. Mitchell Maloney officiating along with the Crusader Choir leading in Praise and Worship under the leadership of James Matchack.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. Interment will be at the Sunset Memorial Gardens immediately following the service.
