Carl L. Noble, 86, a resident of Crystal River, Florida, and formerly of Middletown, Ohio went home to be with his Lord on November 19, 2007. He was the son of the late Lula and Henry Noble. He was preceded in death by his first wife of forty-seven years, Gladys Noble, as well as three sisters and one brother. He served in the U.S. Army and fought in World War II. He was wounded and received the Purple Heart for bravery in combat. He was a retired master mechanic and worked for the Ford Motor Company for most of his career. He was an avid sports fan and a member of the Greater Dayton Umpires Association for thirty years. He was a member of the Church of God for sixty-one years, and a long time member of the Philadelphia Drive Church of God in Dayton, Ohio. He is survived by his loving wife of twenty-one years, Judy Noble, three sons, Jerry, Roger, and Steve Noble, ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, four stepchildren, nine step grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as three brothers and three sisters. Carl Noble was a dedicated and faithful Christian, husband, father, and grandfather. He was a good man who will be sorely missed by family and friends. The Remembrance of Life service will be held at the Baker-Stephens Funeral Home in Middletown, Ohio on Monday, November 26, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Jerry Noble officiating. Interment will follow at the Trissel Cemetery in New Lebanon, Ohio with family serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
