Charlie ONeal, 67, a resident of Old Fort, passed away Monday, July 19, 2010 in a Chattanooga hospital. He was a member of Ladd Springs Seventh Day Adventist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents Montie Eugene ONeal and Ora Mae Wilkins ONeal and one brother, George Elton ONeal.

Survivors include his wife, Pat ONeal of Old Fort; one son, Kevin ONeal of Old Fort; two daughters, Angela Lilley and her husband Rayland of Cleveland, and Janice Leins of Joplin, MO; two brothers, Gene ONeal and wife Ruth of Midlothian, TX and Robert ONeal and wife Gloria of Waxahachie, TX; six sisters, Mary Posey of Mansfield, TX, Faye Anderson and husband Teddy of Paris, TX, June Dollison of Longview, TX, Norma Jean McCurdy and husband Chuck of Mansfield, TX, and Myrtle Potts of Longview, and Connie Story and husband Larry, of Mansfield, TX; three grandchildren, Amy Rhea, Amber Lilley, and Conner Lilley; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Pastor Dale Tunnell officiating. Interment will be held privately.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
