Preston Fred Padgett

Preston Fred Padgett, age 53, resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2010, at his residence with his loving family by his side. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church. He was employed as an auto body painter. He loved the guitar and was lead guitarist for many years. He loved his family. He was preceded in death by one son, Shane Padgett.

He is survived by his wife, Reba Padgett, Cleveland, TN; one son, Phillip Padgett, Cleveland, TN; one daughter, Charlene Padgett, Cleveland, TN; his father, Donald Clayton and mother, Charlene Hamilton; three brothers, Kenneth Ray Padgett and Daniel Douglas Padgett both of Dalton, GA and Gary Lee Scott of Cleveland, TN; one sister, Hannah Marie Forrester, Dalton, GA; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, April 20, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Huff officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until the time of service on Tuesday at the church.
