William E. Parker, Jr.

William E. (Willie) Parker, Jr., age 52, resident of McDonald, TN, passed away Thursday morning, March 27, 2008, at the family residence. He was employed with the Bradley County Schools in the maintenance department. He loved to camp and fish and was an avid card player. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and friend. He was preceded in death by one nephew, Ron Parker, Jr.

He is survived by his loving wife, Donna F. Parker, McDonald, TN; 5 beloved daughters and sons in law; Tracy Michelle and Joe Trentham, McDonald, TN, Tammy and David Carter, Cleveland, TN, Jennifer Parker, Cleveland, TN, Angie and Felix Cross, Cleveland, TN and Shana Jo Parker, McDonald, TN; mother and father, Betty and William E. Bill Parker, Sr. of McDonald, TN; one brother and sister in law, Ronald Ronnie and Wanda Parker, Cleveland, TN; 12 precious grandchildren, Shayla Nipper, Blake Trentham, Colby, Myranda & William Cooper, Ashley Foster, Nolan Parker and Gracie Parker, Taylor and Jaylen Cross, Waylon Lawson and Clayton Parker; one niece and her husband, Teresa and Mark Bowman.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 30, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Darryl Grady officiating. Interment will follow in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Larry Holcomb, Donny Stiles, Wesley Rush, Charles Lindon, Joe Trentham, David Carter, Herman Holcomb and Lloyd Reagan serving as pallbearers.
