Beverly Parkinson

Beverly Parkinson, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday morning, March 21, 2007 in a local hospital. She was of the Baptist faith and an active member of the Red Hat Society. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don C. Parkinson and her parents, Ira David Snyder and Ruby Lee Trewhitt Snyder.

Survivors include one daughter, Donna Parkinson of Cleveland; three grandchildren and spouses, Mac and Melinda Weir, Christy and Philip Edgemon and Kaye and Dave Jones; and five great grandchildren, Lily Edgemon, Janie Jones, Taylor Jones, Michael Jones, and Katelyn Johnson.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Moncrief officiating. Interment will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 200 Central Avenue, Chattanooga, TN 37403.

The family will receive friends Friday from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
