Sharon Jaanini Pasch

Sharon Jaanini Pasch, 57, recently of Cleveland and formerly of Chattanooga passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 28, 2008 at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville. Sharon was born July 9, 1951 in Chattanooga. She attended Georgia-Cumberland Academy and Southern Adventist University. She was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church as well as a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga and Collegedale communities.

Starting with her days at the academy, her sense of humor, loyalty, and upbeat personality attracted lifelong friends from all walks of life. Her love for life was the rock all of her friends and family leaned on through the good times as well as the bad times. Her devotion to her friends and family and her strong spirit lifted up everyone around her. She has left a void in the lives of her friends and family, yet she leaves behind many cherished memories. She will be greatly missed by all those that knew her and loved her.

Sharon was preceded in death by her beloved son, Joseph Alex Jaanini. She is survived by her husband, Herb Pasch; father Jerry McClellan and step-mother Wanda; mother Gail Schrader; son Robin Jaanini and daughter-in-law Cristina; daughter Jennifer Heaton and son-in-law Joe; son Zack Jaanini; father of her children Michael Jaanini; granddaughters Victoria, Michelle, Madeline, Britney, & Emily Jaanini; grandson Maddox Heaton; step-brothers David & Randy Searles; step-sister Tina Parks; and all of the other members of the McClellan and Jaanini families.

The Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday at the Collegedale Church of Seventh-Day Adventists officiated by Pastor Jim Herman and Randy Harr. The family requests that anyone wishing to contribute in Sharons memory may do so by making donations to the Sharon Jaanini Pasch Memorial Fund at any Regions Bank.
