Gertrude Presnell

Gertrude Presnell, age 85, resident of Charleston, TN, passed away Saturday, March 7, 2009, in a local health care facility. She was a member of the Council Baptist Church. She was formerly employed with Charleston Hoisery Mill and also worked for the Bradley County Election Commission. She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Hattie Young Presnell.

She is survived by her loving sister, Emma Ballew, Charleston, TN, one niece and her husband, Marcia and Rev. Harrill Millsaps, great niece and her husband, Joy and Rev. Michael Smith and great nephew and his wife, John and Ksusha Millsaps.

Graveside services will be held Monday, March 9, 2009, at 12 Noon at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. Harrill Millsaps and Rev. Michael Smith officiating.
