Clarence E. Rouse

Clarence E. Rouse, age 83, resident of Cleveland, TN, passed peacefully into eternity Thursday, February 11, 2010. He was a member of Tasso United Methodist Church. A native of Morristown, TN, having moved to Cleveland with the opening of Bowater Southern Paper Company in 1954. He was a WWII veteran having served in the Marine Corp on the U.S.S. Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Hattie Rouse, brothers, Neil and Maurice and loving daughter in law, Martha Rouse.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years Eva L. (Tut) Rouse, brother Harold Rouse and sister Mary Sam Rynak, sons, Steven Rouse, Randy Rouse and wife Cyndi. Grandchildren, Travis Rouse, Joseph Rouse and wife Deouin, Scott Rouse and Lauren Rouse. Great Grandaughters, Megan Rouse and Morgan Rouse.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 14, 2010, at 3:00 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Cutshaw officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with sons and grandsons serving as pallbearers.
