Wanda L. Schisler

Wanda Wan Schisler, age 68, resident of Decatur, TN, passed away, August 8, 2009, at her residence. Wan was born in Portsmouth, Ohio, and has resided in Bradley and Meigs County, TN for the past 31 years. She was of the Baptist faith. She graduated from McKenzie College as a medical assistant. She worked in the medical field for many years. But most notably, she was a lifelong dedicated wife and mother who will truly be missed by her husband, children, sisters, grandchildren and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norma and Theodore Withrow.

Survivors include her loving husband of 47 years, Roy Schisler, Decatur, TN; children, Kenneth (Michelle) Schisler and Schansa (Chip) Davis; grandchildren, Austin and Preston Schisler and Kolo, Liv and Ava Davis; brother, the late Jerry Withrow; sisters, Phyllis Willard of Wheelersburg, OH, Barbara Stevens of Portsmouth, OH and several nieces and nephews and friends also survive.

The family will have a time of gathering at the Grissom Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 12, 2009, from 5-7 p.m.
