Hershel "Buster" Scoggins

Herschel Buster Scoggins, age 77, went home to be with the Lord and his beloved family on August 18, 2009 at Life Care Center of Cleveland.

He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church of Benton. He owned and operated a successful Construction Business for 33 years. He was preceded in death by his wife of more than fifty years and the love of his life Inez Scoggins, son Dennis Scoggins, granddaughter Christy Lewis, parents Anderson and Mary Scoggins, three sisters and six brothers.

Survivors include daughters Debbie Lewis, Ann Vernon and Son-in-law Bobby Vernon, grandson Scott Lewis and three great grand children Haley, Jania and Logan Lewis several nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters-in-laws.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 " 8:00pm Thursday August 20th at Grissom Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 8:00pm in the Grissom Chapel. Graveside services will be held Friday August 21st at 11:00am at Fairview Baptist Church at Greasy Creek, TN.
