Kenneth Selvidge

Kenneth E. Selvidge, 67, a resident of McDonald, TN, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2010 in a Chattanooga hospital. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in Viet Nam. He worked for Vulcan Materials Co. for over 30 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, William E. and Thelma Lee Moyers Selvidge.

Survivors include two brothers, Robert A. Pete Selvidge and wife Inez, and W. Melvin Selvidge, both of McDonald, TN; four sisters, Linda Chastain and husband Buddy, Joyce Cate and husband Bill, Melba Jordan and husband Charles, all of McDonald, TN, and Janie Maddox and husband Teddy of Alabama; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 4 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home. Interment will be held Monday at Chattanooga National Cemetery. The time will be announced.

The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Dr., Chattanooga, TN 37416.
