Edward Sharp

Edward C. Sharp, a resident of Decatur, TN, passed away Tuesday, August 03, 2010 at his home. He was a member of Calhoun First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer Clifford Sharp and Helen Green Sharp; and one brother, Kenny Sharp.

Survivors include his wife, Glenda Bevis Sharp; son, Stacy Sharp and his wife Kim of Brandon, MS; daughter, Angela Sharp MacArthur and her husband, Kevin of Cleveland; brother, Donald Sharp of Cleveland; two sisters, Carolyn Thomas of Cleveland and Gina Harkins of Andalusia, AL; four grandchildren, Sara Lane Bigham, Kelsey MacArthur, Jestin Edward MacArthur, and Amanda Riley Sharp; and two great-grandchildren, Jaxson Bigham and Eli Bigham.

A memorial service will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Cheatham and Reverend Ron Sorah officiating. Interment will follow in Calhoun Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Saturday from 12 noon until 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calhoun First Baptist Church, 107 Church St., Calhoun, TN 37309.
