Ilene N. Smarekar

Ilene N. Smarekar, age 78, resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2010, in a local hospital. She was a member of Cleveland First Church of the Nazarene.

She is survived by two sons and daughters in law, Ross and Peggy Smarekar of Chattanooga, TN and Dan and Linda Smarekar of Rossville, GA; one daughter and son in law, Lynetta and Tim Venable of Nicholson, GA; two sisters, Lola Jean Schmitz and Avenelle Hardy both of Kansas City, Kansas; 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 2, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. David O'Neal officiating.
