Ruth Snyder

Ruth Franks Snyder, age 84 died suddenly at the home of her son on Friday 25, 2006. She was the daughter of the late Andrew and Stella Franks. Ruth is preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Glenn T. Snyder and siblings Thomas Franks, Leon Franks, Lawrence Franks, J.O. Franks, James Franks and Anna Mae Barr. She was member for 55 years at Thompson Springs Baptist Church.

She is survived by two children; Jack Snyder and his wife Becky, Judy McMahan and her husband Carl; five grandchildren; Lorie Puckett and her husband Bob, Barry Snyder and his wife Jill, Pete Passavant Jr. and his wife Aimee, Kammy McCullough and her husband Steve, Chris McMahan and his wife Meredith of Annapolis Maryland; seven great grandchildren: Keelie and Cade Puckett, Sarah Snyder, Elizabeth Passavant, Bailey and Haddan Lewallen and Harley McCullough; one brother; Gale Franks; three sisters: Bobbie Harris, Betty Brown and Nancy McGehee of Mulberry Tennessee: and many nieces and nephews.

The Family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM today August 27,2006 at Grissom Funeral Home.

The funeral will be held Monday August 28, 2006 at 10:00 AM at Grissom Funeral Home with Pastors Joe White and Jeff Still officiating.

Interment will follow at the Tasso Methodist Church cemetery with Robbie Still, Whitney Owens, Heath Owens, Johnny Owens, Bill Falls and Dewey Lewallen serving as pallbearers.

Memorials may be made to Thompson Springs Baptist Church.
