Parker O. Stewart

Parker O. Stewart, 84, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2007 at his home. He retired from the U. S. Navy after twenty years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, James R. Stewart and Isabell Stewart and step mother, Delia Stewart; two brothers, Paul and Frank Stewart; and two sisters, Edna Lillard and Kate McClelland.

Survivors include two sons, P. O. Stewart, Jr. of Conn. and Ben Stewart of San Marcos, CA; one daughter, Gisele D. Knowles of Carlsbad, CA; one brother, Bill Stewart of Benton; two sisters, Bonnie Gilbert and Geri Grubb, both of Cleveland; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Moncrief officiating. Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors.
