Cricket Stinnett

Cricket Louise Stinnett, age 85, resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Monday, December 24, 2007, in a local health care facility. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She attended Washington Ave. Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, James C. Stinnett, parents, Jess and Julie West, brothers, Robert, Bert, Ernest and Ranzie West, sisters, Ether Cathy, Gertie Hitson, Leona Green, Bertha Keller, grandson, Brian Stinnett and granddaughter-in-law, Amy Griffey Pigg.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Jimmie Lou Stinnett; one daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Steve Pigg, of Cleveland, TN; grandsons, Mike Pigg and wife, Donida, and Scott Pigg; great grandchildren, Jonathon and Matthew Pigg and Taylor and Tori McIntyre; sisters, Dora West, Grace Burke; sisters in law, Melvina West and Kate West; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 27, 2007, at 8:00 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Pastor Beecher White and Rev. Paul Lee officiating. Interment will be held Friday, December 28, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Memorials may be made to the Bradley Healthcare Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends Thursday, December 27, 2007, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
