Brad Charles Stutz, 30, a resident of Cleveland, went home to be with the Lord and his loving mother on Monday, September 18, 2006 in a Chattanooga hospital. He was a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Cleveland High School, Cleveland State Community College and UTC. He was a member of the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 44, and earned the rank of Eagle Scout. Brad enjoyed fishing with his father and was a true Tennessee Volunteer fan like his mother. He was also an avid wrestling fan. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Kaye Gincy Stutz; and grandparents Ruby Stutz, and Samuel Clough.
Survivors include his father, Charles Stutz of Cleveland; brother and sister in law, Chad and Erika Stutz of Akron, OH; grandfather, Ed Stutz of Whitwell; grandmother, Bana Clough of Cleveland; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 8 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Dr. Robert Haskins officiating. Interment will be held Friday at 12 noon at Hilcrest Memorial Gardens with Daniel Stutz, Mike Gallant, Douglas Gallant, Jr., Jeff Lipps, Matt Lipps, and Chris Gatlin serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Travis Stutz and Keegan Neely.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church Building Fund, 3405 Peerless Road, NW, Cleveland, TN 37312.
