Nancy Kay Cooper Tyner, 76 a resident of Cleveland died November 8, 2009 at Bradley Healthcare and Rehab Center. She was surrounded by her family as she peacefully passed from this life to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Nancy was the daughter of the late Paul H. Cooper and the late Blanche Mast Cooper. She was also preceded in death by a precious great grandson, Jaxson Avery Kidd.
Nancy worked with Contact Teleministries USA and served as a Red Cross Volunteer at Bradley Memorial Hospital for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son and daughter in law: David and Connie Tyner; two daughters and sons in law: Kathy and Artis Hill and Karen and Tommy Walker, all of Cleveland; ten grandchildren: Trista Gann, Ryan Tyner, Shanna Chastain, Kylie Kidd, Arley Hill, Treyson Hill, Cotter Hill, Morgan Walker, Eryn Walker, and Madelyn Walker; six great grandchildren: Jodie Chastain, Caleb Chastain, Seth Chastain, Jacob Davis, Jessica Davis, and Samuel Tyner.
The family will receive friends from 4:00pm -7:00pm on November 11th at Grissom Funeral Home.
The service will follow at 7:00pm with the Rev. Bill Griffith officiating.
Interment will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens on November 12th at 11:00am. Pallbearers will be Ryan Tyner, Treyson Hill, Cotter Hill, Von Chastain, Johnny Kidd, Tommy Walker, and Artis Hill.
