Sarah Underwood

Sarah A. Underwood, age 90, resident of Cleveland, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, August 3, 2006. She was a member of the North Cleveland Church of God. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Rev. George Underwood and one son, Jim Underwood.

She is survived by 2 sons and daughter in law, Ronnie Underwood, Cleveland and Noel and Dena Underwood, Soddy Daisy, TN. One daughter, Shirley Pearson, Ft. Worth, Texas, one sister, Jean Nunley, Hixson, TN. 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren also survive.

The funeral for Mrs. Underwood will be held Sunday, August 6, 2006, at 2:00 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Cecil Guiles officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Saturday evening, August 5, 2006, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 12 Noon until the time of service.
