Frances Iva Walton

Frances Iva Walton, 65, wife of Luther E. Walton, departed this life on Monday, October 22, 2007. Mrs. Walton was born on July 7, 1942 in Charleston, South Carolina to the late Willard C. and Mary Jane Arant. She was a member of the Community Chapel Church of God. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Enoch Kenneth Walton; and sisters, Roxie Brimmage, Jeanette Russell, and Doris Rickerson.

Survivors include her husband, Luther E. Walton; three children, Luther E. Walton, Jr. of Tellico Plains, TN, Abigail Walton-Leavenworth of Cleveland, and Willard Cleston Walton of Cleveland; four sisters, Hazel Donahue of Hanceville, AL, Alma Evans and Betty Hall, both of West Palm Beach, FL, and Sylvia Landress of Lake Worth, FL; and ten grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at Prospect Church of God with Rev. Ron Leslie officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 7-9 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home, which has charge of the arrangements.
