Edwin William Watson died November 27, 2010. He was an honored World War II veteran. He was employed as a welder for fifteen years at Bowater and twenty years at Reynolds Aluminum. He was of the Methodist faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Noah Moses Watson and mother, Ruth Canon Watson; and wife Ovillee Sutton Watson. He is survived by his son Micheal Wayne Watson and his wife Christine McCleary Watson; step granddaughter Patricia L. McCleary Burnette; step grandson in law, Christopher Dale Burnette; brother Hoyt Watson of Cleveland; sisters Hollena Baggett of Cleveland and Jean Sprayberry and brother in law, Earl Sprayberry of Dalton, GA; nephews Darryl Sprayberry, Dalton Sprayberry, Randy Baggett of Cleveland; sister in law, Bessie Williams of Cleveland, and a host of many more nieces, nephews, relatives and other friends.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Bond officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
