Junior Welch

Junior Welch, age 61, resident of Georgetown, TN, passed away Monday, July 6, 2009, in a local hospital. Formerly of Blytheville, Arkansas, he was a Vietnam Veteran and served in the United States Army. He was a hard worker and a master craftsman. He could fix just about anything. He was employed with Bradley Healthcare and Rehab. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Gladys Welch.

He is survived by his loving wife, Diane Welch, Georgetown, TN, two sons, Christopher Welch, Cleveland, TN and Brandon Welch, Chattanooga, TN; two grandchildren, Morgan and Savannah Welch. Mother in law, Kathy Brewer, Georgetown; two brothers, Leland Welch, Flint, Michigan, Clark Welch, Blytheville, Arkansas; three sisters, Valdean Nichols, Marmaduke, Arkansas, Hazel Richardson, Arkansas and Juanita Hines, Greenwood, Mississippi. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 9, 2009, at 8:00 p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Vaughn officiating. Interment will be held Friday, July 10, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at Chattanooga National Cemetery with Military Honors.
