James David Williams, age 64, resident of Cleveland, TN, passed away Friday, January 15, 2010, at his residence with his loving family by his side. David retired in 2002 after a very accomplished sales career starting with Magic Chef and ending with Maytag Appliances. He served on the Presidents Council numerous times over the years and received the Bradford Rymer Cup. He was an avid golfer and served on the Board of Directors of Hurricane Creek Country Club in Anna, Texas. He was a member of the Cleveland Country Club and Lodge #1944 Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks. He attended the Mt. Olive Church of God. He was preceded in death by his parents, James H. Monk and Aleita Williams. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Jackie Williams and father in law, Sam McDaniel.

Survivors include: wife, Kaye McDaniel Williams, daughter and son-in-law LeeAnn and Dewayne Lowe of Cleveland; daughter Pamela Knudsen of Allen, TX, and son and daughter-in-law Justin and Katie Williams of Nashville, TN. Grandchildren Ashley and David Lowe of Cleveland and Samantha Knudsen of Allen, TX. Great-granddaughter Gracie Glover of Cleveland. Mother-In-Law Polly McDaniel Scoggins of Cleveland. Also surviving are his brothers and their wives, Steve Williams, Denny and Judi Williams, Mark and Regina Williams and sister and brother-in-law Terri and Allen Murray. Sister-in-law Debbie Williams.Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be held Monday, January 18, 2010, at 2:OO p.m. at Grissom Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Sears officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Sunday, January 17, 2010, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Grissom Funeral Home. Online condolences may be sent to www.grissomfh.net
